The CR Songwriter Series aims to connect songwriters and their songs with audiences in intimate settings.

Although songs are at the heart of every musical performance, it is often the songs that get lost in the hustle and bustle of clubs and bars. We hope to create a space where songs and the stories they tell are front and center, creating a connection between the songwriter and the audience that often gets missed in louder places.

Exploring themes of family, spirituality, grief and identity through a more honed blend of roots and folk genres, Pacific Northwest-native Lauren Wanamaker has been praised for the authenticity, introspection and personal subject matter her music exudes. With two EPs under her belt and a collection of singles slated for 2026, the self-proclaimed "manic folksy indie country dream worm" is quickly establishing herself as an important emerging voice in the new folk sphere.
